I have downloaded the Metro News (Ottawa) Iphone/Ipod Touch app from Itunes onto my Ipod Touch. Altough it seems to be working, I have a question: how do I get to read the articles when offline (non Wifi aera)?

I suppose I could be selecting all articles from each category one at a time and then it would be in the cache for later, offline reading. I am guessing this would work. But this is time consuming. Selecting all articles from all categories without knowing which articles that could interest me would take a long time in the morning.

So is there a way to have all the articles loaded on my Ipod touch at once? I could later choose which articles/categories would interest me. I could, in the morning, open my ipod touch, connect to wifi and then let the app load all articles (even if it takes 5-10 minutes) and I could go about doing my routine (shower, breakfast, etc) without taking additional time to select multiple articles that I may or may not read in the bus.

So is there a current way for me to, quickly, have all articles loaded on my Ipod touch before leaving for work so I could view them in the bus (no Wifi)?

The application should give the possibility to choose when to make the update of the news. As is possible to do right now, we can open the application at home in the morning and using the WI-FI, update all the news to read it later on the bus offline. The problem is that as I'm using an Iphone, as soon as I open the application, it uses my 3G network to update again, that consuming my included data of my cell plan. I could be great to be able to select when to update the news and not doing that automatically.
